Introduction: Welcome to this yoga alliance program! It was designed to introduce you to the history, language, methodology, anatomy, physiology, and future of the developing yoga industry, while preparing you to teach to a general adult population with inclusivity and authenticity.
Learning objectives: After program completion, it is expected that you should be able to:
1. Identify muscles working and explain physical & mental benefits of any asana.
2. Break-down & teach any yoga pose, modifying for special populations.
3. Define basic yogic philosophical concepts.
4. Speak basic Sanskrit.
5. Create sequences & playlists.
6. Safely offer hands-on adjustments.
7. Creatively & authentically teach a general adult population at studios, gyms, in-homes & in-offices.
Your lead Teacher Trainer, Mandy has been coaching trainees since 2014. She has a passion for functional movement to honor all stages of life, inclusivity, being authentic, connecting with people, the human body & the lineage of yoga.
She loves to help teacher trainees learn more about themselves & how to live more honest, balanced, authentic lives.
Brandy has been teaching Anatomy & Physiology & facilitating healing through massage for 20 years.
Her hands-on teaching expertise, wealth of knowledge & artistic, educated, heart-felt perspective is impressive! We are honored to have her lead our anatomy lectures.
Jennifer is a life-long chakra-balancing, energy-sensing, psychology-loving positivity guru. She teaches full-time as an elementary school teacher (educator of 19 years), & in her off-time teaches yoga & Stand-Up Paddleboard yoga around Snohomish County.
We are stoked to have her presence & perspective during our Chakra lectures!
She first fell in love with yoga at the age of 15 and heard the call to become a yoga teacher at 17. That passion became a career as a Yoga Alliance E-RYT, YACEP & Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga Instructor.
Carly will be present for our Prenatal/Postnatal & Business Development lectures.
Taylor graduated from Inclusive Yoga Teacher Training in 2017 & has been teaching private lessons & empowering gym vinyasa yoga classes since.
Her passion for health & wellness through creative, challenging sequences shines through in her teaching.
